The Strongest of the Rail Yard
On the third Saturday of August, the competition "Strongest of the Rail Yard" organized by the World Heavy Events Association will be held at Minkiö station starting at 12 noon.
Series: Women/Men- Push-up combination (axel – bar – circus dumbbell)
- sack carrying 20m + duck walk 20m
- Fingal Fingers (raising the rail)
- Deadlift combination(1 X axel, 1 X bar, rail frame as many times as can be done)
- Train pulling, harness + front rope

Jokioinen Cheese and Wine Festival
In the evening, the Cheese and Wine Festival will be held in Jokioinen. Our museum train will run one extra Minkiö-Humppila-Jokioinen-Minkiö service. Our train leaves Humppila at 17:05 and takes you directly to the Cheese and Wine Festival. It is about a 500-meter walk from Jokioinen station to the event venue.
