Humppila Day

At the Humppila old station you can experience the old time market and travel in time with a genuine narrow gauge train

In addition to normal scheduled trains there is a special Humppila Day train running between Humppila station and Kermala halt.  The first train of the day calls Humppila at 10.24 and the last train will leave Humppila at 16.00. Trip on the special Kermala train costs 5 euros for adults and 2,5 euros for children. You can also take the special train with a normal day ticket of Jokioinen Museum Railway.

It is also posiible to make a longer steam train trip from Humppila to Minkiö or Jokioinen by taking one of the normal scheduled trains.

In addition to train traffic there is a traditional market at Humppila station. You can by for example coffee, cakes and post cards and muc, mucm more. You can also try a railway hand car at the station.

Time table of the Humppila Day

In addition there are special trains running betweenHumppila station and  Kermala halt. These trains depart Humppila at 11.15, 11.40, 12.05, 12.30, 13.30, 13.55 and 14.20. They depart Kermala at 11.23, 11.48, 12.13, 12.38, 13.38, 14.03 and 14.28. Return trip Humppila - Kermala - Humppila takes about 15 minutes. Return ticket prices are 5 euros for adults, 2.50 euros for children aged 6-16 years and free for children under 6 years old.
